Citronella Essential Oil (cymbopogon nardus) is steam distilled from the grass and has a sweet, lemon aroma.Citronella is a hardy, slim grass that grows to approx. 3ft. in height and if it is left to grow wild it will flower naturally.
Citronella is used in candles which are promoted as an insect repellent. Citronella is also a popular ingredient for detergents, soaps, polish and perfumes amongst other things.
Blends well with essential oils of:
Cajuput, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Petitgrain, Thyme.
