Cajuput Essential Oil (Melaleuca Leucadendron) is steam distilled from the twigs and leaves and has a penetrative, fresh aroma.Cajuput is from the same family as tea-tree and has similar characteristics.
In the East, for hundreds of years Cajuput has been put to many uses - as a medicine, in the kitchen, in cosmetics and perfumes.
Cajuput is used in soaps, detergents, occassionally as a flavouring for food and also used in dentistry and in pharmaceuticals as an antiseptic.
Blends well with essential oils of:
Clove, Niaouli, Nutmeg, Pine, Rosewood, Thyme.
